This Privacy Policy explains how Mospan Sp. z o.o. (“NearbAI,” “we,” “us”) collects and processes information when you use the NearbAI mobile app and related services (“Services”). If you have questions, contact nearbai02@gmail.com.
Who We Are and Scope
Controller: Mospan Sp. z o.o., Poland. This Policy applies to our mobile apps (iOS/Android) and any backends necessary to provide the Services.
What We Collect
- UUID. Random identifier stored on your device (Android Auto Backup / iOS Keychain) used to recognize your app instance and manage token balances.
- Search inputs. Categories, city, dates—used to return results and improve relevance.
- Location (optional). Used just-in-time for nearby suggestions when you request it. No continuous tracking by default.
- Optional proactive suggestions (opt-in). Requires explicit consent and can be turned off anytime; we don’t keep historical movement logs.
- Purchase data. Apple/Google/Stripe process payments; we receive limited metadata to credit tokens.
- Advertising. We may show ads, including rewarded ads, subject to platform permissions/consent.
- Diagnostics. Minimal crash/performance data to keep the app reliable.
How We Use Information (Purposes & Legal Bases)
- Provide the Service (contract necessity).
- Improve and secure the Service (legitimate interests, balanced).
- Location for on-demand searches (consent).
- Optional proactive suggestions (separate consent).
- Ads where used (consent/legitimate interests as required).
AI Requests and Caching
Queries are sent to our Cloudflare Worker, which may call an AI model (e.g., Gemini) and cache non-personal results in Cloudflare Workers KV keyed by search parameters, with auto-expiration. Cache is not tied to your identity.
Data Sharing
Infrastructure (e.g., Cloudflare), AI providers, payment processors (Apple/Google/Stripe), and ad partners where enabled. We use contractual safeguards and prohibit onward use.
Retention
UUID and token balance persist while the app instance is active. On-demand location is ephemeral. Optional feature keeps only last known location as needed (no history). Cache entries auto-expire. Transaction records retained as legally required.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures. Keep your device secure.
International Transfers
We may process data outside your country with appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) and minimal personal data.
Your Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR), you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and to withdraw consent. Contact: nearbai02@gmail.com.
Children
Not directed to children under the age of digital consent.
Data Not Sold; Limited Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Controls
- Location: allow/deny in OS; toggle proactive suggestions in-app.
- Ads: adjust consent where presented.
- Notifications: control in OS settings.
- Deletion: reset app/UUID locally and contact us to remove server-side records, subject to legal retention.
Changes
We may update this Policy and will adjust the “Last updated” date; for material changes, we will provide additional notice.
